A WARM WELCOME - from Nasreen, Francis and Sanah. This beautiful semi-detached four-double-bedroom house is conveniently located in Old Marston in a quiet cul-de-sac. We have a unique approach to letting, and believe in providing comfortable accommodation at a fair rent, along with a responsive service. I was letting the house for 4 years, and since Dec 2017 have been living here with my 14 year old daughter Sanah. My husband Francis works out of Oxford and spends some weekends, or part of the week with us. I have been a host for international students previously and will offer a pleasant relaxed home.
THE ROOM - is on the ground floor street facing has a continental size double bed with a pocket sprung 140 x 200cm mattress, 6 drawer chest of draws, floor to ceiling wardrobe, desk and bedside table. The downstairs shower room is next to the bedroom. The rent includes all bills, a weekly cleaner and gardener so that residents can relax when they get home. I also provide bedding, towels, bathroom and kitchen consumables, and make available all kitchen equipment.
THE HOUSE - In 2013, the house was extended and fully refurbished throughout by Francis himself without compromise The EPC rating is high, there are two washroom, the kitchen has granite worktops, high spec appliances and Italian tiles. The fixtures are the best we could afford for a simple modern look. We have prepared two lovely gardens front and back. There is adequate parking for 3 cars. The result is a comfortable family home restored with care that we are happy to live in ourselves. Francis can deal with any repairs in a matter of hours.
PERFECT LOCATION - The road is quiet and residential, yet close to all amenities. You can walk to the city centre or St Clements in 25 minutes, or cycle in 10 minutes. The number 13 bus stop is 100m from the house, and takes you into the city centre and rail station. The JR and other hospitals are close, as are the two charming shopping areas of Summertown and Headington. Ferry Leisure Centre is 8 minute cycle ride along the Marston Ferry Rd.
LET ME REASSURE YOU - You may be a little nervous about whether it will work out to share the house with the landlady. Since Dec 2017, I have now had 6 successful short lets, including Tracy and Patricia who wrote the testimonials below. It has worked because we all respect each other's privacy, yet are happy to share a chat and a cup of tea. We use the upstairs bathroom, whilst the downstairs washroom is predominantly for the use of the housemate in the downstairs bedroom, which allows more privacy.

The neighbourhood is quiet and there is a delightful 20-minute walking path to the city center, always good for relaxing. The garden is also well-kept and the house is environmentally-friendly: they do separate collections for recycling, there is a compost bin in the backyard and it is a smoke-free space. The environment in Nasreen's house is more than comfortable: it is cosy and welcoming. Nasreen and Francis are always alert to solve problems very promptly and also to help foreigners not used to the habits and rules of Britain, like myself. They are very dedicated landlords and as a result, you are at risk of getting a new friend.

12 Beechey Avenue was home for a few months whilst I worked at the JR hospital close by. Nasreen and her beautiful family made every effort to ensure I was comfortable and considered. 12 Beechey Avenue is a beautiful house in a peaceful area of Oxford. The house itself is well maintained and furnished by owners who care for the house as if they were living there themselves. A large and attractive garden with plenty of sunlight makes for excellent summer evenings. The landlady and landlord manage the property themselves and are very helpful and responsive: for example, the tenants asked early in the tenancy for a dedicated aerial, and this was installed in the loft quickly and competently with no inconvenience to the tenants. I happily recommend that anyone who cares about their environment view the property, which suits a tenant that is looking for somewhere to live, rather than simply somewhere to survive.
