We have a Ensuite double room to rent just a 5 min walk from Plymouth Barbican. The house is just off the main roads in a quieter road but still with amazing travel links and walking routes.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, Chest of drawers, bedside drawers and TV. There is room for a wardrobe/clothes rail or shelving if needed. It also has a walk in Ensuite with toilet, sink and shower. There is on street parking on the main road with a permit.

The house itself is almost where we want it to be decoration wise (we have not long moved in ourselves) so photos don't quite do it justice yet but you can get the idea. We have the standard lounge, dining room, kitchen and a downstairs bathroom. Also have a utility space leading into the fully enclosed rear patio garden. The rest of the house is our bedroom, our guest bedroom/storage and our bathroom. As with a lot of Plymouth houses this room is set across 3 floors so your room is on a separate floor to the rest.

The house also comes with high speed internet and Netflix already set up on the TV. We also have lots of smart home features with lighting, ring doorbell and Alexas set up all over main areas.

The household consists of myself (34F) and my fiancee (28F) and our 2 dogs (Bear and Forrest), a Golden Retriever and a Cocker Spaniel. We are both working professionals, my partner is a nurse so does do a mix of days, nights and weekend shifts, I work from home full time in marketing. On the weekends when she is not at work we are often not around much as we'll be away camping for a lot of summer. We have no preference on LGBT or not, although we prefer a female housemate because Forrest definitely has a preference and can take a minute to warm to men (he's not aggressive just scared for some reason), but if you're male and willing to just let him warm to you it doesn't take him too long. When at home together we're normally just chilling, making dinner or watching a series of something so it's a pretty quiet and chilled out house.
