I have a double room available in my home in Newton Abbot which can be either furnished or not. The property is a three bedroom semi-detached house with parking at the front and an enclosed back garden (with a BBQ for those al fresco meals!).

Downstairs is a very social kitchen/dining room with double oven, gas hobs and a dishwasher along with all the usual appliances. There is a separate utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room is at the back of the property and the doors open up into the garden which is lovely on warm days. There’s also a cloakroom downstairs so no fighting for the loo!

Upstairs is a shared bathroom with both a bath and shower along with three bedrooms and an airing cupboard.

The property is a short walk from the local bus route and approximately 2.5 miles from Newton Abbot train station.

As a live in landlord I would like to live with someone who is considerate, tidies up after themselves and is genuine. Whilst the Newton Abbot nightlife isn’t going down in history, it can be good on occasion and I have no problem with living with someone who may like to experience it for themselves. I’m quite sociable so it would be great to have someone likeminded living with me.

A Monday to Friday let would be considered at a reduced amount.
