I have a double room available in a Victorian terraced house on a quiet road in the University area which is very near Reading University and the Royal Berks Hospital.

The house is on Foxhill Road, which is less than 5 minutes walk to the University campus, and about 15-20 minutes walk to town. There is a Co-Op store nearby which is open until 11pm and is only a 5 minute walk away.

The house has a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, utility room and bathroom on the ground floor and two double bedrooms on the first floor. The bedroom available is at the front of the house. It gets lots of light and has a Victorian fireplace and a good sized desk. There is a garden at the back, big enough for sitting and eating outside. The utility room has a washing machine.

The house was renovated when I bought it so is in a good/clean condition with a modern kitchen and bathroom (which includes a strong shower above the bath).

Foxhill Road is one-way and so is a very quiet road. There is a parking-permit scheme on the road. My house has 2 parking permits so the tenancy will include a parking permit if you have a car.

The garden has a shed in it which can be used to store bikes, although there is also room in the utility room for a bike.

The rent is £500 per month including all bills. The house has fast wireless broadband.

I play cello in a local orchestra and piano in a local band. Don't worry though - I don't make lots of noise in the house!

I work in IT for the NHS and work in Reading and the local area.
