Seeking a fourth, person for this maisonette, which has a shared living room/kitchen.
LL is English, the females are Lithuanian and Russian (both speak Russian).
Video tour coming soon.
The room is £825.00 per month and same amount for the deposit/bond.
All bills are taken care of and some of the amount covers a fortnightly cleaner, washing up liquid, black rubbish bags and toilet rolls.
Our cleaner visits every two weeks but of course there's always the day to day stuff so someone who likes to help is preferred.
The flat is clean and quiet, is always being improved in some way and things get fixed without much delay. Landlord lives in and has a handyman business.
There's a hob and separate oven with grill, three fridges and two washing machines here (very convenient), one can dry, and there's a large drying rack for non urgent items.
All the appliances, including the boiler, are covered with a maintenance contract so if anything breaks down it gets fixed quickly.
You supply bedding (including mattress protector) but there's usually a selection of clean, random bedclothes if needed until you get settled in.
We are on the second floor on a quiet estate and close to the shops, which include a couple of supermarkets: Co-op & Costcutter.
There's a Post Office, leisure centre, library, pubs and of course the famous universities.
There are plans to demolish some buildings on the estate to upgrade it, and the plans seem very promising, with many new facilities.
The nearest British Rail station is Barnes, tube is East Putney or Putney Bridge (for the centre) or Hammersmith. There is a good bus service to take you out of Roehampton.
This is a non-smoking flat, for insurance purposes and the smell.
You can park in the area quite easily, first come first served, never so crowded that you can't park.
Central London is quite a long journey, it takes about 45 minutes to get to Blackfriars in the city of London, so it may not suit a city worker.
Wimbledon, Kingston, Fulham, Putney, Sheen and Richmond are all within 30 minutes by public transport.
The flat is very clean and a sanctuary from the busy workaday world.
The shower is great, and the bathroom had recent work done and is getting more upgrades all the time.
The person leaving has been here since March 2021, and is transferring work to Belfast.
People generally stay for longer periods, which I'm looking for.
There is a lodger agreement which is just the ground rules really, you just need to read and sign. You would not be a tenant, you'd be a lodger, a guest basically. The LL plans to move out within the next year so this may become a tenancy arrangement.
