Lovely 2 bedroom flat in green space by the River Irwell M3 (10 minute walk to Victoria/Deansgate). 🌿🏡

💰Rent excluding bills is £500 per month each.
Council tax £70 per month each.
Contract is for 1 year.
Proof of income needed (can be benefits or guarantor).
I have first refusal if I can find a flat mate!

🧑🏿‍💻 Could also fit a desk in both bedrooms.

💺Furniture can be replaced with our/your own if we remove the old & leave a replacement of equivalent quality.

Retro fit work will be hopefully finished by the time we move in.

👩🏻‍🦰About me: I'm a 40 year old freelance captioner for deaf people, a cis queer-ish feminist woman with a lot of lgbtq friends.
I work from home at least 50% of the time, unpredictable hours.
I don't mind whether you work from home or not.
I'm also involved in zine writing and activism against borders and prisons.
Interested in literature, hiking, arts, pubs... 🍻🥾📚

☕I would love to have a flat mate that I can be friends with, while also respecting personal space.

Similarly, it'd be lovely to have people round to hang out, while also respecting it's our home (not a 'party house').

🥘I'm veggie and love to cook while listening t8o music. I like to share my creations, but you don't have to be veggie yourself. 🚲I have a bike which I will keep in the corridor & I'm sure we could fit another one in (there's no bike shed).

🧹I'm clean but not super-immaculate.

💨 I will have an air purifier in the communal space. If you ever have covid or suspect you have, please wear a mask in the communal space (I can provide masks & tests. I would also help you if you're ill!).

🏘The flat is on the first floor and there is a lift which I'm told is pretty reliable. I don't know how wheelchair accessible the flat itself is. The kitchen cupboards etc are standard height.

🐕 Dog-friendly but it would have to be a small one in this space. If you don't have a dog, I would like to get one at some point. (So bear that in mind if you have another pet).

🚬Smoking on balcony only. Vaping ok inside.

The garden is shared with the rest of the block.

If you can't move until later than July 12th I could manage on my own for a few months - just really wanna find the right flat mate :)
