Room in Highfield flat in a great location next to the Southampton Common park and the Highfield university campus. The flat is spacious with a large shared living room and kitchen and has high speed internet throughout. The neighbourhood is extremely safe and located very close to both Portswood and Southampton city centre.
I am a 27 year old professional and I am looking for someone in roughly the same stage of life as I am. Another young professional or masters/phd student who also values a bit more of a tidy and relaxed household.
Guess I better say a bit more about myself then. I am social, but do most of my socialising outside of the house and like to take it a bit more chill when I am back in the flat. I work throughout the week, typically 2 days from home and the rest of the week from the office. I also enjoy sports and usually try to go to the gym or a run in the Common next door in the morning! If you are down to eat and/or watch some tv together in the evening though, that is very much my vibe.
Extra things to know
- You will be added to the tenancy agreement as an equal tenant (This will be done via The Home Agency and you will need to provide right to rent in the UK)
- Council Tax Band C (201 per month) and would be split between us
- Electricity and water would be split among us.
- Electricity has historically only been about £50 every two months (don't ask me how, it is magic and I am scared asking too many questions might break the spell).
- Water is about £25 per month.
