I am looking for a housemate to share my beautiful home with. You will be renting a furnished double room and there is a newly, decorated spare room that is currently equipped to be a second living space. You are welcome to decorate the room as you like. A new bathroom was fitted last year and there is a second toilet downstairs. The house has an open/kitchen diner, living room downstairs and a sunny garden that is perfect for a BBQ in the summer (although I'm currently struggling to remember what that's like!)
The property is in Council Band C and is situated near Shirley High Street, all amenities and public transport are less than a five minute walk but the road is really quiet.
I am a teacher who leads a busy lifestyle. I love an adventure so I can be away at weekends quite a lot. I really enjoy music and gigs. I am big on socialising but therefore do like to have my own quiet time at home. I have plenty of experience house sharing and therefore I like to think I am a respectful housemate. I have lived harmoniously with another person for a year but she is moving onto pastures new. I will be moving out on the 1st August therefore the minimum term will be until then and after that it will be a conversation with the landlord who intends to move back.
As there will only be two of us in the house, it is essential that we get along and therefore I'm looking for someone who shares some of my interests. I'd like someone that's friendly, easy-going and respectful. You will also need to like cats as we share the house with an adorable cat who is quiet but loves to be loved! Friends, partners and family are all welcome to visit and stay and therefore I would like someone that shares those sentiments. Any questions please let me know.
