Recently decorated very large double room to let in clean, warm, friendly house, to share with 1 other person, (owner) male teacher, 54. Female preferred, to keep the gender balance..

The house is in lovely end of cul-de-sac location, surrounded by green belt/ park land.

Although I am a light smoker, trying to quit, but not succeeding, I do have 2 lounges, so effectively the second lounge would be yours, and can be a non smoking lounge if you are a non smoker. Also this means we can have our privacy when we want it. The bathroom has a bath and shower and w/c, and separate downstairs w/c. The house has a large garden with patio furniture, where I have a small barbeque, and have frequent cook outs in the summer. You are, of course, invited!

The front lounge has the addition of a real log burning stove, and the house is double glazed with cavity wall insulation, thick loft and roof insulation and central heating, so it is very cosy in the winter!

The house is in the Old Shirley area, in a very nice, privately owner occupied street, 5 mins walk from all 3 hospitals, and a short bus journey from the university. Shops are about a 5 min walk away, and Shirley High St is about 10 mins walk away, which has all the usual high St shops. The house is very close to all major bus routes into Central Southampton and out to surrounding areas.
