Hi everyone,

I'm looking for someone to live in one room of my 2-bed 2nd floor tenement flat in Dennistoun for 2-3 months, or maybe longer.

For the past few years I've been a live-in landlord, renting out the spare room to Theo, my lodger. I'm going away for a couple of months so my room will be available while I'm away. This will be a short-term let of 2-3 months. However, there is some potential to extend that into a longer term arrangement, depending on how my circumstances play out.

This would start on the 10th of April. I'll be back in Glasgow on the 14th of June (just for a week and staying elsewhere) at which point we can discuss how it's going and if you'd like to extend your stay.

It's a nice traditional victorian tenement, it gets the morning and evening sun and it comes fully furnished. The bedroom has a double bed with a good mattress, a big wardrobe, drawers, a chair, shelves, bedside tables etc. There's also a big living room with a dining table, TV, the usual... The kitchen has everything you might need - washing machine, dishwasher etc. There's a communal back garden where you can dry your laundry.

You'd be living with Theo, a friendly and laid-back 25 year-old PhD student who has been living in the flat for the past 2 and a half years. He's great and I've really enjoyed living with him! You'll get to meet him at the viewing.

Dennistoun is a great place to live, and very convenient for town. Bellgrove (train station) is a 5-10 minute walk away and cycling in takes about 10 minutes. Alexandra Parade and Duke Street are both 5 minutes walk away, where you've got supermarkets, nice cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. Alexandra Park is nice, and also very close.

About you: I'm looking for a working professional or a mature/postgraduate student. Between us, Theo and I keep the flat clean and we're both pretty quiet, and I'd be looking for someone to carry on that fine tradition. It's a no-smoking flat.

Bills are all included, including energy, council tax, factor fee and broadband. Deposit will be one month's rent.
