A kind and friendly elderly gentleman is seeking a second Sharer for his home to give him a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

The person would value the friendly reassurance and company of having a second Sharer to join the team of people supporting him and someone around his home some evenings and overnight. He would also like some general practical help around the home such as shopping, cooking and sharing three/four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, watching some TV together, occasional outings, perhaps a little help in the garden and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a single bedroom furnished with a single bed, wardrobe and shelves. The bathroom (bath) is shared with visiting family members and the other Sharer, and there is shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden. There is parking available.

The property is in an excellent location in Onslow Village, an easy 20-minute walk to Guildford city centre.

The gentleman loves art and attends a weekly sculpture class. He watches the news and also enjoys quiz shows and some other programmes. He also loves his garden. An animal-lover is a must as one of his daughters brings two friendly dogs with her when she stays.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
