Hello! I'm looking for a housemate in my 2-bed flat in Limehouse, E14, zone 2. My name is Anna; I live between Glasgow and London having recently got a job in Scotland, and spend 3-10 nights in London per month when I come back to freelance. I'm looking for somebody who'll take good care of my flat while I'm not there and who's easygoing - while hopefully enjoying having a flat mostly to themselves at well below market rate :)

It's a two-bed flat - the room going is the master bedroom on the ground floor, with lots of cupboard and built-in wardrobe storage. The room has direct access to the garden and there are high ceilings through most of the flat, making it feel quite spacious.

The local area is nice, the flat is really close to the canal and Canary Wharf is a twenty minute walk away with lots of cafes and shops. Closest station is a 7-10 minute walk to Westferry DLR, but Limehouse c2c and DLR are also nearby, plus the Elizabeth line from Canary Wharf. There are regular night buses all night and most places in town take half an hour or 45 minutes to reach; it's a really central place to live.

I'm a professional musician (French Horn) and do practise at home on the days when I'm there (promise I'm good). I'm sociable and friendly, and enjoy cooking and chatting as well as making the most of what London has to offer - I would love to have a flatmate I get on with when I'm in the flat too. Couples are welcome as long as you're happy sharing the space on the days I'm back, but I've found this to be OK with previous flatmates.

Unfortunately because of the terms of the lease the flat isn't pet friendly. The flat is band D for council tax but I pay this and take a £50 contribution to other bills :)

The room is available from May 19th but with potentially some flexibility a few days earlier if that helps - message me to discuss. I'm selling the flat (much to my sadness, I love it but it's not in Glasgow) so it's available til September/October time but this may be longer depending how quickly I sell - it shouldn't be shorter though, and I'd give you a couple of months' notice and keep you posted on what's going on.
