I am looking for a considerate professional lodger to rent a large double room with a king-size bed in a calm, homely three-bedroom house close to King’s College Hospital.

All bills are included in the rent. The house is relaxed, friendly and well cared for. As I work from home some days, it would suit a professional person who is independent, respectful and looking for a peaceful place to live.

We are an environmentally aware and energy-conscious household, so I am looking for someone who is mindful about everyday use of heating, electricity and water.

The house has a lovely back garden backing onto Ruskin Park, and we share the home with a gentle three-legged cat.

Transport links are excellent. Loughborough Junction and Denmark Hill stations are both around a 5-minute walk away. Herne Hill station is around 10 minutes away, with its Sunday farmers’ market, Brockwell Park and friendly village feel. Brixton rail and tube are also within easy reach.

The area has a great mix of green space, independent shops, cafés, community life and good neighbours. It would suit someone who values a clean, calm, low-impact home rather than a party house.
