Hi everyone,

Double room going in 3 bed Victorian house in Camberwell SE5 from January. Open to someone full time or a professional weekdays (Mon-Fri or) let.

The house is spacious, with a lovely garden (with sheltered space for bikes), large living room and newly renovated bathroom and kitchen. The room is fully furnished with hanging space, shelves, drawers and a small fold out desk.

It is a 12 min cycle or 15 min bus to Elephant & Castle, with the bus stop just 30 seconds away. 10 min bus (or 20 min walk) to Peckham Rye Station.

Camberwell is a fantastic place to be with lots going on. Great pubs, cafes and restaurants, including Camberwell Arms, Cafe Mondo, Toad Bakery and Silk Road. Burgess park is just a few minutes walk away for green space, a morning jog, community sauna/cold plunge or tennis. Brunswick and Ruskin Parks are also close by.

You’d be sharing with my brother Tom and I - I’m a civil servant and Tom works for a not-for-profit (both travel fairly regularly for work). We’re easy-going and relaxed, love having people over, but the house is generally a calm space. We enjoy a pub quiz and pint after work, and Tom would be delighted if we find someone who he can drag to Burgess parkruns!

Both of us work from home a couple of days a week so this would suit someone who is mostly in the office. Open to males or females, ideally in 30s or 40s.
