For rent: a large double room in an old Victorian house with high ceilings and wooden floors. I live here with my two cats, Morpheus and Loki :) I mention this upfront in case anyone has allergies.
There is also another professional female nurse living in the flat, so there are two people in total. She's barely home. She’s from Hungary, has a very friendly personality same as me and is easy-going.
The house is located on Erleigh Road near the hospital (LITERALLY 2 minutes away) and just a few minutes from the university grounds. There's a bus stop nearby with excellent connections to all the Business Parks in Reading. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the train station.
Room is furnished (large double wardrobe, chest of drawers, queen size bed with firm mattress, shelves, mini sofa, desk & chair). (also plants which I'm happy to remove)
The house has one bathroom which may not be luxurious but is adequate and clean with a bathtub and shower.. An additional perk is the large storage space as the house has both a basement and an attic, so we can discuss storing a few of your extra things if you have them. Living area which is also shared, (same as my cats)
At the back of the house, there is also a very large garden, which is of course available for the residents to use.
I have no specific preferences for a tenant, but I am looking for someone calm and professional, not a party animal. Someone who values quiet and peace, similar to myself and the other tenant. And sometimes, in my absence, could feed my cats. (of course it's not a must :)
We share the cleaning responsibilities within the property between us on a rota basis.

Room available from the 30th March onwards
