I have a room becoming available in the beginning of June (fixed contract start date on the 6th) in a wonderful 2-bedroom shared flat for a student!

The flat is situated in Fulford, 5mins by bike from West-Campus UoY or 15mins walking distance. It is a really nice and quite neighbourhood, very close to the river but also relatively central with free on street parking if needed.
The flat is a terraced house with a south-facing garden.

The available room is south-facing towards garden and is equipped with a double bed, two sets of drawers, desk and build-in wardrobe and rent is £540 excl. bills which are currently another £100 per month (includes water, internet and energy). If you are a working professional, council tax is NOT included yet.

My landlady (and myself) is looking for someone staying rather long-term with a fixed contract for around/minimum a year.

I‘m 30 years old and about to finish my PhD at the UoY in Archaeological Sciences. My tenancy will end on the 5th of August, hence the second room will also become available. I'm very clean and quite person, like gardening, reading, traveling, board games, then and now some shared dinners and my cello and hoping to find someone with shared interests!
