Hello :) I am considering letting out my lovely spacious furnished double room. I think i would prefer someone who only needs accommodation a few nights a week or shorter term at this stage. But will also consider applications for up to 9 months. Unfortunately I will not be able to extend a tenancy past the end of May due to house renovation plans.

The house is a 1 mile walk or cycle from the centre of York, very close to the University buildings, and with free on street parking and a driveway available when I am away.

The room available is furnished with a double bed and mattress, a large built in wardrobe, a set of drawers and a desk with chair, lamp and mirror. It will be newly decorated and is very clean.
There is one spacious shared bathroom, with jacuzzi bathtub and a large multijet walk in shower.
The shared living room is cosy and comfortable, and there is a large TV with netflix, and fast WIFI.
The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven. There is use of a shared refrigerator and freezer, and all utensils, crockery, pots and pans can be shared if required. There is also a brand new washing machine.
The dining room can seat 4 people, and I also have an electric piano which you are free to play if you wish.
The cloakroom has space for coats and shoes, and there is a large tumble dryer available for use in winter months.
I have a very large South facing garden that gets the sun all day. There are chairs and a table available for use.
There is a new efficient combo boiler meaning hot water is on demand. Bills excluding council tax are included in the rent. Those using the property for a few nights only, plus students are exempt from council tax.
I maintain a clean tidy house and would expect my housemate to do the same.

I am the house owner and this is my main residence, along with my little boy who is almost 3yrs, and my small 4kg rescue dog. My husband lives abroad therefore we spend extended amounts of time away. You would have the house to yourself quite a lot, and i will discuss our lifestyle a little more with potential applicants. I am looking to share my house with someone who is respectful, clean and tidy. Someone who doesn't treat my house like a party venue, and who can maintain my standards of cleanliness while i am away. This house share would be better suited to a mature student or professional.
