I’m looking for a friendly, considerate and reliable housemate to share a comfortable, relaxed home with me and my two children (16 & 14). My children are currently here around 30% of the time, although this may increase to around 50% in the future. They’re lovely teenagers who can be lively at times, so being comfortable around children and some occasional household noise is important. When they’re not here, the house is generally very calm and quiet.

I’m friendly, kind and approachable, and I’m naturally very curious — I enjoy getting to know the person I live with and hearing about their interests and experiences. I have lots of interests myself and often think one lifetime isn’t enough for everything I’d love to learn about! I also love dancing, so there’s a good chance you might occasionally catch me dancing in the kitchen 😊

I’d love to find someone who enjoys a friendly, easy-going home where we can have the occasional chat or share a meal when it naturally happens, while also having our own space and independence. I really value good, open communication, as I think it’s important when sharing a home and helps everyone feel comfortable.

I have a fairly settled routine and usually go to bed around 10pm, so I really value good sleep and being considerate of each other’s routines. Sound does travel quite easily between the rooms, so I ask for some mindfulness with noise after 10pm. Normal evening life is absolutely fine — it’s more about regular late-night activity or very early starts not being a great fit.

**A few practical details:**

• Rent is currently **£625 per month**, with the possibility of increasing to **£725 from August 2027**.
• The room is offered at a reduced rent, so the current Wi-Fi arrangement may change in the future. If this happens, a separate Wi-Fi arrangement may be needed at around £30 per month.
• A small, friendly hypoallergenic dog may be considered. Unfortunately, no cats due to allergies.
• Couples can be considered at a higher rate, depending on compatibility.
