Hello!
Our housemate is moving out and we are looking to fill her room. We are Harry (28) and James (27).
We're both laid-back, respectful and friendly people. We're definitely not a party house but like the occasional BBQ, games night and dinner party. We keep a cleaning rota and like to keep the place clean and tidy and also share the gardening (but James likes mowing the lawn).
Move in date 3rd of August may be flexible.
The house:
• Your bedroom is spacious and on the ground floor. It is unfurnished but the rest of the house is furnished. Either by us or left by previous tenants!
• The living room has a sofa and TV and a table and chairs. It's a spacious diner / lounge.
• The kitchen is kitted out: 2 small fridges, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc. The driveway fits 2 cars and there is ample free parking on the street.
• Great garden and garage with space for storing bike(s), gardening supplies, and whatever you like. We even have our own football table!
• We also have our own laundry room and washing line in the garden. Which is very handy.
The area:
The house is nicely situated in Filton, just over the border from Horfield, off the top of Gloucester Road. Very well-connected with nearest bus stop 2-min walk away with regular routes, 74 & 75 into town. There are 2 Voi-scooter parking areas 2-3 minutes away. We have a Lidls near by, a corner shop, Greggs, Dominos, a charity shop, takeaways and a very nice Indian restaurant.
There is also a great park near by (Monks Park) and a nearby forest (Baddocks Woods) which is great to explore.
About Harry and James:
About Harry: Works 9-5 at Southmead Hospital as an occupational therapist on a mental health ward. Enjoys communal meals, board and card games, exploring art galleries and cafes in town, gigs, cycling and going for sea swims.
About James: Works in the travel industry (office), 9-5 Mon-Fri. Likes to unwind by playing board games, baking, watching movies and going out with his camera.
Our landlady has always been good to us. She gets things sorted and fixed very quickly. She requests an employer and landlord reference from all tenants before you can sign the contract.
Rent: £600
Bills: Approx £150 a month including council tax.
Council tax - Band C
