Double bedroom for rent within Horfield (Bristol Northwest voting area). Flexible on move in dates.
Will be sharing with just two others, so not a busy house.
The house has a large open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room fitted with a wood burner, and a bifold door into the garden.
Kitchen facilities includes a high branded induction hob & steam oven, dish washer and washing machine, and an extra wide fridge/freezer. Plenty of kitchen & fridge space.
There will also be a separate large dining room at some point this year (currently an empty room).
The house includes a garden with 6 large raised beds and a functioning greenhouse. Over summer there will be outside seating (one of my garden projects).
We have two Norwegian Forest cats living here (each 1-1.5yrs old), who are both strong characters in the house. Both are indoor cats (outdoor harness or supervised) and cat hair is unavoidable, although the cats do not go into the rented bedrooms.
Tons of street parking space, and driveway space for two cars.
Homeworking friendly house (rooms have their own LAN sockets).
Further details:-
1. Rent is £550. inclusive of all bills
2. Deposit is £550 in advance.
3. Household cleaning products, toilet rolls, dish washer tablets etc. is included within rent.
4. Washing up is done via a dish washer
5. This is a professional house share (8am-6pm Monday-to-Friday working patterns). In view of this, the house kicks into life around 6:45am mid-week, so it is suited to non-night owl persons who are looking for a calm house without any late night sleep disruption (i. e. it's not a party house).
6. Looking for a clean, tidy, considerate & responsible person.
Preferences:-
Prefer vegan/veggie or similar, but it is not a requirement as the person matters the most, and I am a pragmatic vegan. The person moving out is not a vegan/veggie and eats white meat & fish.
The people who live here:-
I am a social introvert. Professional. Vegan. I like hiking, camping, board/card-games, video games, keeping fit, running, bouldering, mountain biking, DIY, films and binge-watching decent TV series. Spend a lot of time trying to (I am an amateur at it) grow fruit and veg, or working on garden projects.
The other person you will be sharing with are share with is a female social introvert, veggie, professional (teacher into climbing, surfing and other outdoor activities, board-games, festivals/gigs and reading).
Nature of the house:-
Age range here is typically late 20's to 40's. Generally a socially introverted house (chat and share a lot but live independent lives outside the house). There is no forced living routines (such as shared cooking or other activities). We respect the need for each others recharge time. I am happy for anyone to join in on any of my activities, and I would not say no to a good board game session. If you want to unwind to yourself a lot that is completely fine here :)
Pets:-
Although I will consider pets, the only ones I can consider are room based ones only.
