A lovely double room available as my current housemate is leaving me to buy her first home. It’s a really special property on the edge of Lloyd Park and I love living here.
The room is unfurnished, so you would need to provide your own bed, bedroom storage etc. I’ve included photos of the room with and without furniture for reference!
I’m looking for someone kind, friendly and easygoing to share the house with. As it’s only two people ideally it’s a relaxed and homely house share, with the occasional shared meal or film night whilst respecting each other’s space. I’m also up for an occasional brunch or visit to Walthamstow’s breweries!
The house
A truly unique property on the edge of Lloyd Park. It was fully renovated 2 years ago, with a new kitchen and bathroom, and everything freshly painted.
Downstairs:
Separate living room and kitchen with new fridge, oven and washing machine (nb no dishwasher)
Newly installed bathroom with bath/shower
Upstairs:
Two double bedrooms and a separate study which is shared
We have a private yard although as we’re so close to the park we tend to use that more!
Rent and bills:
Rent is £1300 monthly, and bills around £120 on top. The new person would sign a new lease with me directly with the landlord. They’ve been super friendly and responsive, though as the property is newly renovated we haven’t had many issues!
Current flatmate
I work full time in Shoreditch and tend to WFH 1 or 2 days a week, though this varies. I like exploring what north London has to offer, take the occasional yoga class and am always up for a chat over a glass of wine or a cuppa. Looking for someone wanting a nice, calm lovely place to live!
Transport:
12 min walk to Walthamstow Central on Victoria line or overground to Liverpool Street
Blackhorse Road is also 10 mins away by bus
Room officially available from 23 October but may be some flexibility as current flatmate plans to move out a little earlier.
