Double room to rent in a clean, 2 bedroom duplex apartment in a new built development. It's about 10 min walk to Elephant & Castle tube, the areas is served by many bus routes, including night buses. Lots of lovely bars, shops and restaurants nearby, big Tesco, Lidl, multiple gyms, etc. Very close to London Bridge/Tower Bridge, good for commuting to Bank, Canary Wharf, Westminster, most of central locations can be reached in 20 mins.
The room is furnished (double bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables, desk). It also comes with a private bathroom with a spacious shower (not en suite but the bathroom is for your use only). There is plenty of storage in the flat, large courtyard patio, secure bike storage. Kitchen/ living area has a sofa, tv, table and chairs, washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner etc. Additional bills are hot water and electricity, c. £60 - 70 per month in the winter, less in the summer months + a proportion of council tax (c. £75). Broadband and water are included. My crazy party times are over so I’m looking for someone similar - with own life but also happy to share a chat or a bottle of wine in the evening. Current flatmate is sadly moving countries so I'm looking for someone available o move in from 1 May. I'm open to any gender, any age.
