Hi everyone! My current flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to take over their tenancy from late August.
🙋 About me: I graduated from LSE last year and now work in economic consulting in London. Outside of work I mostly go to the gym, play games, or head to the pub with friends. I’d say I’m pretty chill, clean, and respectful of shared spaces, and I’m looking for someone similar. The only other thing that’s important to me is that you’re an LGBTQ+ ally🙏
🏠 The flat:
* 2 bed, 2 bath apartment in Elephant Park.
* You’ll have the first bedroom and exclusive use of the large bathroom directly opposite (I have the ensuite).
* Fully furnished kitchen (including a dishwasher). I also have a coffee machine ☕ and an air fryer that you’re welcome to use.
* Spacious living room with a TV and a Nintendo Switch (always happy for a Mario Party session! 🎉).
* Separate utility/laundry room with plenty of storage for luggage, coats, shoes, etc.
📍 Location:
* 5-minute walk to Elephant & Castle station.
* 1-minute walk to several bus stops.
* Around 15–20 minutes by bus to Westminster, Covent Garden (LSE/King’s), and London Bridge.
* Just a few tube stops away from Old Street, Moorgate, City, Oxford Street, Soho, etc.
✨ Building amenities:
* Residents’ gym.
* Study/co-working spaces on the first floor and in the Sky Lounge on the 24th floor.
🛒 Nearby:
* 1–2 minute walk to Sainsbury’s, Sainsbury’s Local, Tesco, Kiki & Miumiu, with an M&S (plus a cinema 🎬 and shopping centre 🛍️) opening in the park later this year.
* Lots of cafés ☕, restaurants 🍜, and pubs 🍻 right outside.
* Gymgroup directly opposite the building.
💷 Rent: £1,734 pcm + bills (which have been pretty cheap).
📩 If you’re interested (or know someone who might be), feel free to drop me a message! I’d be happy to arrange a time to meet, have a chat, and show you both the apartment and the building :)
Please note: the room is also available to couples, as the flat has an HMO licence. The advertised rent is for single occupancy and represents half of the total rent for the flat. For a couple, the rent would be adjusted to 60–65% of the total rent.
