Hello, I'm offering a double room in a medium sized house on a quiet and attractive cul-de-sac in Nascot Wood.
I'm sociable, but mostly quiet and I'm looking for a professional person who's friendly and reliable to share my home with. I work in IT for a university, which I do from home most days. The room is for one person only (no couples I'm afraid) and for someone who doesn't smoke.
You'd be living with me (the landlord), though I intend to have a second lodger in the future when I can get a different room ready. There is a shared bathroom next to your room with a large walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet downstairs. You'd have use of the kitchen and have your own double cupboard. I have some cutlery, dishes, glasses, and pots, which you're welcome to share. There is also a living room, a conservatory/dining room (not so great in the winter mind), and a small garden. I have a TV license (terrestrial UK TV), Netflix and Prime.
Your bedroom (2.7 x 3.5 m) is front-facing, and is fully furnished, with a bed (new), bedside cabinet, lamp, desk, chair, set of draws, built in wardrobe/cupboard and a bin. Bedding isn't provided, except for a mattress protector.
For transport, there is limited on-street parking available. Watford Junction train station is about 12 minutes walk away. You can walk into the centre of town in just over 20 minutes.
Utility bills (water, gas, electricity, council tax, broadband) are included in the rent.
I'd love to hear from you so if you're interested, then please send me an email and tell me a bit about yourself and what you're looking for.
