Hello, potential new housemate!

Our flatmate Tom is sadly moving out, so we're looking for someone to take over his spacious double room.

The flat is split over two levels. On the first floor, you'll find the kitchen, living room, your bedroom, and a bathroom that's exclusively yours. The top floor has two en-suite bedrooms, occupied by myself and Ryan.

We also have access to a split-level garden through the front entrance, and there's free on-street parking available (although you'll need to check the signage carefully).

The location is super convenient: just a 5-minute walk to West Norwood Station, a 17-minute walk to Tulse Hill (with Thameslink services direct to the city) and three bus routes that’ll get you to Brixton in 15–25 minutes, depending on traffic.

West Norwood is a charming, residential area with a strong community vibe. There's a cinema, library, great pubs, restaurants, a board game bar, and even the occasional club night. On the first Sunday of every month, there’s a local food festival. Plus, you're right between Dulwich, Crystal Palace, Streatham, and Brixton - so loads to explore nearby!

The room comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, and cube shelving unit. You may want to add a chest of drawers if you need extra storage.

A bit about us:
I'm Portuguese and work in the music industry, splitting my week between the office on Mondays and Tuesdays and working from home the rest of the time. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime and TV series, listening to music, and going for walks.

Ryan is British and works in operations for a contemporary art gallery on a rotating schedule. He loves cooking, listening to music, and photography. We're both 34.

We're looking for someone friendly, considerate, and easygoing; someone who respects shared spaces and understands the balance between being sociable and giving everyone their own space.

We enjoy a chat when our paths cross, but we mostly lead independent lives and respect each other's space. This isn't a party house - it's a calm and comfortable home.

We're ideally looking for a mature professional, preferably around our age, who's looking for a long-term home. If you're interested, let us know a bit about yourself, what you do for work, and your general lifestyle, and we'll be happy to arrange a viewing.

The details:
Rent: £760/month
Bills: £85-£150/month (depending on the season)
Deposit: £750
Move-in date: August 21st
Viewings: From the week commencing 20th July

Got questions? Just drop us a message!

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Alice & Ryan
