Newly decorated room with garden view in a quiet area of Harlesden. Shared bathroom and kitchen. The rent includes all utility bills and the council tax. I am ideally looking for someone who can move in relatively quickly, preferably a student or professional who does not routinely work from home.

I am now retired, and so I'm in the flat quite a lot of the time these days. I am a friendly, easy-going sort of person, and although I am offering a room and not a flatshare, I am hoping to find someone I can get on well with and with whom I can socialise occasionally.

The flat is just a short walk from Harlesden town centre, home to many different cultures, and its cafes, restaurants and takeaways cater to a wide variety of different tastes. There are two large supermarkets and many smaller shops offering a good selection of relatively cheap food including fish, meat, fruit and vegetables.

The flat is five minutes on foot from Willesden Junction, which is on the boundary of zones 2/3. The Overground offers a fast connection to Euston Station as well as frequent services to Stratford, Clapham Junction and Richmond. On the Bakerloo Line it takes less than 25 mins to reach Oxford Circus.
