I’m looking for a new flatmate to share my 2 double bedroom flat in Park Royal. I’m the owner and currently live in the other bedroom.

The flat is a 6-minute walk from Park Royal Station (Piccadilly Line) and around 15 minutes from Hanger Lane Station (Central Line).

There’s a shared open-plan living room/kitchen area with a large balcony. The bedroom comes with a bed and wardrobes already, although any other furniture or belongings would need to be moved in. The bedroom also has its own door into the main bathroom, so it’s technically an ensuite.

There’s an underground garage with bike storage, and right next to the flat is a large open park with a river running through it, which is private for local residents.

There are also plenty of amenities nearby. There’s a Co-op, barber and cafe just down the road, as well as a cinema and PureGym near Park Royal Station, so most of the essentials are within easy walking distance

About me

I’m a 25-year-old professional working in Leicester Square Monday to Friday. I’m pretty chilled and easy-going and generally like coming home after work, cooking dinner and watching a film or some TV.

My girlfriend stays over fairly regularly, usually around 2–3 nights a week. She’s obviously around the flat when she’s here, but we’re both respectful of having a flatmate and their own space. I’m looking for someone who’s comfortable with that and happy with a shared living environment.

I’ve also had a flatmate and his girlfriend living here for just under a year, and we got on really well. So I’m very used to sharing the space with other people and having a good balance between socialising and giving each other space. I’d like to think I’m a pretty easy person to live with. I’m respectful of people’s routines and privacy, happy to communicate if anything comes up, and I’m not someone who’s going to be overly strict about how you live your life.

What I’m looking for

I’m looking for someone easy-going and up for a chat, but equally comfortable giving each other space when needed. I’m quite social and happy to hang out, whether that’s over dinner, a drink or just chilling and watching something, but I also like having some downtime.

I don’t mind if you have friends over either, as long as it’s respectful of the flat and everyone living here.

I’m not super strict about cleaning, and your room is your space, but I like to keep the shared areas tidy. We’ll also have a simple full-flat cleaning rota once a month to keep on top of things.

I do quite a bit of cooking and I’m happy to share meals if you’re into that too, as long as we split the costs fairly.

Overall, I’m mostly looking for someone reliable, friendly, respectful and easy to live with who wants a nice, relaxed place to live rather than just somewhere to sleep.
