A beautiful and cosy small double room for lodging in a family home. Contemporarily and freshly decorated, with floor to ceiling Ikea Pax wardrobe, small double brown faux leather bed with memory foam mattress, chest of drawers. Room has newly laid wooden floors and furbished with locks to the bedroom door for your privacy.

The accommodation comprises kitchen and living area, toilet, bathroom with shower and garden. Unfortunately due to dietary considerations we are unable to welcome anyone who eats pork.

The property is five minutes walk to Southfields District line station which provides an easy commute into Westminster (30 minutes), Victoria (20 minutes), Earls Court (15 minutes) north bound or six minutes into Wimbledon station southbound where you will find regular train connections into Waterloo (20 minutes), London Bridge (30 minutes) and Clapham Junction (5 minutes).

You can expect a clean and friendly environment in a quaint and leafy part of London. It's very much an idyllic retreat away from the busy hustle and bustle of city life. We welcome smokers as long as you don't mind smoking outside. We would expect you to be in full time work or study, be friendly and curteous, super clean and willing to promote a peaceful environment to live in. You will be expected to contribute to the cleaning of the house although we will be happy to clean on your behalf for a suitable surcharge.

Tube / Train:
5 min walk to Southfields Tube Station for the District Line, which is two stops from Wimbledon Main Station which links up to the National Rail and Tramlink.
Bus:
Two min walk to the nearest bus stop, for the 39 or 493 bus:
a) 39 (towards Clapham Junction or Putney Bridge)
b) 493 (towards St, George’s Hospital via Wimbledon or Richmond)
Clapham Junction Station is 15min away by bus where you can get the National Rail & London Overground.

The Area
We are 10-15 mins walk to Wimbledon Park and the Wimbledon All Lawn Tennis Courts. Wimbledon Common is approx 10-15 mins walk in the other direction. Richmond Park is a ten-minute bus ride away.
Shops nearby include Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Starbucks, Boots, M&S, Cafe Nero, butcher, pub, post office and many boutique restaurants.
Wandsworth is 5-10mins by bus where the 39 stops outside Southside Shopping Centre, Cineworld & King George’s Park
Clapham Junction is 15min by bus for a variety of clubs and pubs. Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Centre is 5-10mins by bus, with lots of high street stores, coffee shops, Wimbledon Centre Court Shopping Centre, Wimbledon Theatre. Polka Dot Theatre and Odeon IMAX

The rent for a single person is £650 per month for the small double. The security deposit is one months rent in advance.
