The room:

I’m looking for a new flatmate to take over the second bedroom in our lovely 2-bedroom flat. My current flatmate is moving out to live with their partner, so I’m looking for someone new to share the flat with.

The room gets loads of natural light, it's furnished, as shown in the photos. The desk and chair pictured will be removed, so the room will be available with the other furniture shown.

Rent is £900 per month and bills come to about £210 per month.

The contract can start on the 14th September or the 14th October but can be flexible for moving in.

The flat is a great 2-bedroom property, that gets loads of natural light, with a shared living room and a lovely open-plan kitchen/living space, making it a really sociable home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

The location is really good. The tube is literally under 1 minute away, and you also have a bakery, Co-op, off-licence and post office all within around a minute's walk. Wimbledon Park is less than a 5 minute walk away, so you're also close to plenty of green space.

Who you'll be living with:

You'll be living with me, a 26 year old professional working in finance. I work mostly from home, so I'm around the flat quite a bit, but I'm also very active and enjoy getting out and about and love a good coffee shop.

Outside of work, I'm into fitness, baking, cooking, cycling, hiking, coffee and generally being social. I'm clean and tidy, pretty easy-going, and always up for a coffee walk, grabbing something to eat or having a chat in the evening. Would love to find someone who we can have the odd dinner together and as I love baking there's normally plenty of homemade crumble, cookies or millionaire shortbread around.

I'm looking for more than just someone who pays rent and disappears into their room. Ideally, I'd love to live with someone who is friendly, clean, sociable and enjoys a good conversation. Would be keen to have a movie night in and hang out. I'm very happy to introduce you to my friends and include you in plans if you'd like equally, there's absolutely no pressure to be social all the time.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who works from the office at more often, as I work from home most days and think having a bit of balance in the flat works well.

Overall, I'm hoping to find someone who is easy-going, considerate and would be happy for the flat to feel like a proper home and make a good friend along the way.

If this sounds like your kind of place, drop me a message and tell me a little about yourself, who you are, what you do etc

There is also a £50 fee including VAT payable when taking over the tenancy, which covers the administration involved in replacing the current tenant.
