West Wimbledon and Raynes Park
The flat is in leafy Raynes Park/ West Wimbledon with a 5 minutes walk to Raynes Park station, from which Waterloo is about 20 mins by train. The area is a residential suburb which has been voted as one of the best places to live in London for several reasons. Firstly, the commute to Central London is quick and easy. Secondly, it is one of the greenest areas in London and boasts plenty of parks and walking beautiful walking spaces such as spaces such as Wimbledon and Putney Commons, Cannizaro House and Cannon Hill Park. Thirdly, is has great amnesties such as sporting facilities (David Lloyd’s, horse riding stables and golf courses). Finally, it is one of the last “villages” of London and has a busy high street with family owned business, pharmacies, independent and chain coffee shops, restaurants and three supermarkets - Coop, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
Wimbledon Town Centre and Wimbledon Village are a short walk from the flat and New Malden and Kingston Upon Thames are a short bus ride away.
