Hi, I am looking to share my home, and rent my large double room. It is a modern, home, with fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, bathroom, one thats up and wet room / shower room down stairs. No tumble drier, do not believe in them, use a line. It has garden that is west facing, with an art/framing studio. The house is in a quiet road with plenty of street parking.
I would prefer you to be comfortable sharing the house, rather than be someone who prefers to stay in their room. I would be very happy to discuss you bringing your own bed etc.
I have not included bills, with the energy prices going up I would prefer to have a shared responsibility for the energy bills. I also prefer a cooler home, rarely having my heating above 18c in the winter.
The house is on the bus route to Poole, and there are great cycle lanes all around, horse riding stables up the road, walking distance to Wimborne, if you like walking! 4 miles from the nearest beach, easy to cycle there but uphill home!
I am an ex midwife, newly retired, looking for easy going, happy person to share with. I have a VW camper for my travels and weekends away. I like to paddle board occasionally, go cycling with Koko, do arty bits and pieces and pieces.
I have a wee dog, koko, small, very friendly, quietish chap. He is a poodle cross, another pet could be a problem as he is five and a little possessive over his toys and territory with other dogs. A cat would not be possible. He would spend his time harassing the poor thing.
It would be good to meet up first, if you were interested.
My other preferences are:
- no heavy drinkers, smokers or clubbers
- must like my dog
- prefer vegetarian but that is not essential.
- dont mind occasional guests staying over but the word is ‘occasional’, and must be by agreement.
- Must be working normal office hours, no night workers or evening workers, sorry but that does not suit me or my dog.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
