We’re looking for a new housemate to join our home located between Wood Green and Turnpike Lane. If you’re looking for a place that truly feels like home the moment you walk in, this could be it.

🏡 The House & Room
The room: Approx. 11 sqm double room with a peaceful garden view. Fully furnished (double bed and wardrobe), so you can move in with just your suitcase.
The house: A classic Victorian house, fully renovated before we moved in, so it’s in great condition and well maintained. We have an extra-large, fully equipped kitchen (perfect if you love cooking), a cosy living room, and a lovely garden.
Layout: 4 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 large kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a large garden.

📍 Location
Transport: About a 10-minute walk to both Turnpike Lane and Wood Green tube stations.
Area: Lidl, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s are just 6 to 8 minutes away. All the shops, cinemas, and restaurants of Wood Green are right on your doorstep.

📝 Details & Terms
Rent: £775 per month + bills. (Bills are around £90/month, rising to a maximum of £110 in winter due to heating.)
Deposit: 5 weeks’ rent.
Requirements: The letting agent requires 3 months’ payslips, 3 months’ bank statements, and a Right to Rent check.
Rules: Single occupancy only. No pets (agency rule). No smoking inside the house (the garden is fine).

🎸 The Vibe & Who We Are
There are currently 4 of us living here (3 men, 1 woman). My husband and I share one room, and our other two housemates have their own rooms. We’re musicians, so there’s usually music and creativity around the house.

We’ve been living together for 3 years, so this isn’t just a place to sleep for us. We really respect each other’s personal space and quiet time, but we also enjoy socialising. About once a month, usually at the weekend, we invite friends over, play music, and sometimes fire up the BBQ in the garden, even in winter with our coats on! 🎉
This is definitely not a party house, but it’s a warm and welcoming home where you won’t feel lonely or isolated.
