Ideal for city professional/commuter as train goes direct to London Waterloo in 25 minutes, station is a 10 minutes brisk walk from the house.

K1 (& others) bus 10 mins to Kingston & direct x26 coach service to Heathrow. Lots of off street parking in a very safe and quiet neighborhood, close to wooded hills and country lanes of the Old Malden/Barrow Hill area, which comprises smart restaurants, carvery, pubs, sports club, tennis courts, local shops and even a go-kart racing track. Great for country walks, despite its urban setting.

The room available is a large double GF front bed-living room. North facing, overlooking a small front garden; the bedroom is light (mat white) and airy, brand new carpet, and has been freshly decorated with a 4 piece new oak drawer and cupboard set and new black glass computer desk in front bay ideal for home working.

Room catches the sun in the early morning to late afternoon.

Room comes with Sony 50" Flat Screen TV.

There is storage under the double bed and option to utilize a leather sofa bed shown in photo instead.

We also have a small spare room which we use as an office with computer desk. It has a double sofa bed in there for guests.

The newly decorated bath/power shower room and separate WC are also on the first floor.

The house as a whole is freshly decorated; a spacious 3 bed house. Large 150 foot rear garden with part lawn with three sun tables, and sets of chairs & loungers, great in the summer and the lawn is well maintained.

Utility room includes two large separate SMEG fridge and freezer - Black and white kitchen has AEG automatic washing machine/dryer & Bosch dish washer, neat with all mod cons, microwave, gas cooker/oven/grill. Kenwood mixers, coffee maker, Bullet blender etc. We all have our own storage space in the kitchen.

We are looking for a friendly, easy-going person, who cleans after themself and isn't noisy late in the evenings as we have day time jobs. One of us is home working and other works in data management office and home (both in local government). We are a mixture of social and private; we hang out in our own rooms for privacy but we also share a glass of wine and a chat sometimes in the garden and respect each other's space. We are looking for a similar kind of person. We are good mates and watch football and sometimes films and documentaries together. One is single and one has a girl friend who visits. We are both straight, preference for a female to add a dynamic as we are totally used to and enjoy female company - this has been the normal balance in the house for quite some time. A mellow fellow would be welcome too.

Mature professional and NHS, Public Sector employees welcome. A reference can be obtained from our last flat mate, Vicky, a care worker, who was with us 6 years. House is secure for rent for the next 6 - 7 years.

Great if you are enjoy current affairs, science, ecology and sport in general, film & music. we are very keen on recycling so this is important in the house. Looking for a mature person, in steady employment or well-funded mature student.
