Looking for a Friendly, Easy-Going House Share?

Are you looking for a place where you can enjoy your own space but also have company when you feel like it? Why not join us in our spacious, relaxed (but clean and tidy!) home in Wotton-under-Edge. Martha (30), our other housemate, who has been with us for about 6 months is moving out in May for pastures new after being promoted at work.

Who’s in the house?
• Me (Alec) – Busy with work, into music and cooking.
• Olivia (25, my daughter) – Friendly, easy-going.
• Marek (45 ish) – Has been lodging with us for about 2 years, nice guy.

The room on offer:
• Small bedroom with Double bed, Wardrobe and Chest of drawers.

Other details:

Just a quick note about smoking: the house itself is strictly non-smoking, so no smoking indoors at all. If you do smoke, you’re very welcome to do so outside — we’ve even got an ash bin to make it easy. It’s important to us that the house stays fresh and comfortable for everyone, and this way it keeps things fair whether you’re a smoker or a non-smoker.

There is plenty of on-street parking, plus two car parks within 5 minutes’ walk.

• Broadband with a mesh Wifi system
• Upstairs bathroom & toilet, plus downstairs shower & toilet
• Kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge (and freezer), dishwasher, washing machine, plus all cooking essentials including plates etc.
• Dining room
• Basement with clothes-drying area, tumble dryer and freezer
• Garden and yard with washing line

About Wotton-under-Edge:
A beautiful Cotswold town, just off J14 of the M5 (25 mins north of Bristol, 30 mins south of Gloucester). It has:
• A thriving community with cinema, arts centre, live music, monthly jazz & blues jam sessions, and even a yearly blues festival
• Independent shops, plus Co-Op and Tesco, all within 5 minutes’ walk
• Four pubs (two serve really good food) – all friendly
• Fantastic countryside walks, with the Cotswold Way just a minute walk from our door
