The room is a double bedroom in a large period property over 3 floors and 10 rooms. The Room is 12x12'. There is plenty of storage with a double bed/desk/bookshelves/2 fitted wardrobes and other storage space. There is a bright clean bathroom, large shared kitchen/diner, utility room and living room. The occupant is welcome to use the garden and other facilities of the house. There's no off road parking but there isn't usually a problem parking in the square outside the house. Local and national buses stop nearby and shops restaurants and pubs are very close.

Primarily I am looking for a quiet reponsible person who is independent as I am away with my work a lot. Previous occupants have stayed for a long time although I may consider mid week and shorter stays as its handy for weekday and contract work in the area. I would prefer someone who does not principally work from home. The room is not suitable for pets, overnight stays of children, e-bikes, couples (although occasional guests are very welcome).
