The room is in a spacious, central house, just a five-minute walk from the train station.

It is situated near Micklegate, close to the city centre and with lots of amenities nearby. Although it near the centre, it is a peaceful area.

House features: large garage (lots of storage space!), balcony, upstairs bathroom with shower/bath, downstairs toilet, parking.

About me: I am a single, 33-year old teaching assistant and history PhD student. I am friendly and am looking for someone to not only be a housemate, but also a friend. However, I also enjoy my own space. I am quiet (no wild parties - though I occasionally have friends around for boardgames!) and very clean and tidy.

Although the tanancy agreement says six month minimum tenancy, I am looking for someone who would like to stay long-term (at least one year). Students are welcome, but the estate agent requires tenants to also be in employment.
