Hi! I’m looking for someone to move into a furnished double room in our flat in Causewayhead ASAP, due to a change in circumstances 🏡
About the flat
* LGBTQ+ friendly first-floor flat
* Furnished double room with double bed and built-in wardrobe — the room has also recently been painted, new carpets are being fitted, and new windows were installed not that long ago
* Spacious open-plan living area, modern and recently refurbished
* Balcony with a great view of the Wallace Monument
* Located in a quiet area of Causewayhead
* Less than a minute from bus stops into town/university
* Around a 15–20 minute walk to the University of Stirling
* Shop just a few seconds from the door
* Street parking only
Rent / bills
* Rent: £400pcm (increasing in October to 435)
* Bills: usually £90–£120pcm including council tax
* Council tax isn’t negotiable as we don’t receive a discount
About us
You’d be living with two professional flatmates. I work as a co-ordinator in homeless assessment and support and also work part-time alongside that. Kieran works full-time in a coffee house in town. We’re both into gaming, movies, horror and generally geeky stuff, and the flat is friendly, relaxed and pretty quiet.
Looking for someone who:
* is clean and tidy
* is comfortable in an LGBTQ+ household
* has a reliable income
* can provide landlord references
* is generally a good fit for the flat
Guests are absolutely fine with a heads-up, but we’re not looking for someone whose partner/friends will be staying over multiple nights every week. If someone is staying more than 2 nights a week regularly, we’d ask for a contribution towards bills to keep things fair.
We’re looking for someone who wants a friendly, settled home rather than a party flat — someone clean and considerate in shared spaces, with a reliable income and good communication around bills/household stuff. We’d love someone who’s up for the occasional chat/hangout and feels like part of the flat, but who also respects people’s space and keeps things fairly calm.
No pets allowed as it’s part of our occupancy agreement set by the landladies
Thanks,
Nathan / Kieran
