Myself and my daughter are looking for a lodger for a quiet double room at the back of our house, overlooking a secluded private garden.

We are an active, outdoorsy household and are sociable, friendly people. We like cooking, mostly vegan, but it varies.

The room has its own small fridge, good storage, Wi-Fi and direct access to the back door.

You’ll have almost exclusive use of the downstairs toilet, with a shared kitchen and lounge downstairs and access to bathroom upstairs.

Location: Around 10 minutes by bike to the town centre and 20–25 minutes to Stirling University. Bus stop 10min away.

Included: All bills included. Netflix and Amazon Prime are available. There is no TV licence.

Rent: An additional £300 per month applies for a couple. Shorter stays may be considered at £40 per night for one person or £60 for a couple. The deposit could be discussed if shortterm.

My daughter and I are looking for someone considerate, tidy and respectful who will help maintain a pleasant, comfortable home.

- Cleaning: You’ll be responsible for leaving your room clean and tidy at end of contract. Cleaning up after yourself in shared areas and sharing regular household tasks, including cleaning, recycling and tidying communal areas.
- Food and supplies: Food is not shared unless agreed beforehand. Coffee and household consumables can be shared by mutual agreement on contributions.
- Household items: Kitchen equipment and other household items must remain in the house.
- Noise and guests: Please be mindful and ask permission before inviting guests.
- Security: CCTV overlooks the back garden and gate.

An in-person viewing before agreeing to a let, is important to us, to ensure that everyone feels comfortable living together. The decision will be made jointly by my daughter and me.
