Hello 👋, I'm letting out my lovely spare room on a short term basis (max 4-month stay). Could this be your new temporary home?

It's a large double room with plenty of space and storage - comes fully furnished and exactly as seen, complete with a huge built in wardrobe, desk, and ceiling clothes airer too. The room has been fitted with secondary glazing - it is so silent you cannot hear a pin drop.

There is a small but functional kitchen (estate agents would call it 'cosy'), but it is absolutely fine and more than does the job. Then a good sized living / dining room too.

**Please note that I do work from home Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30, although I'm often out and about at weekends and several evenings each week.**

It's a great location, plenty of shops and cafes in the area, and good transport links into town - busses depart from outside the flat and Pollokshaws East is less than 5-minutes walk. Onstreet parking is available nearby. I then love the proximity to Queen's and Pollok Park - both around 10-minutes walking.

You'll be living with me, although I'm fairly laid back and easy going. It's a relaxed and friendly flat, and it's not uncommon for people to pop over from time to time. Having lived in a number of house shares over the years, now that I'm renting out my own place I really want to create a cosy space that you are able to call home.

Deposit - I'm not asking for a formal deposit, however if you agree to take the room then I'd ask for £250 up front, which would then be deducted from your first months rent (sorry - this is just to stop time wasters).

👻🐈 Meet Ghost 🐈👻 - Ghost is my little blind cat. He is super friendly, playful, chatty, loves attention, and very easy to live with. However this means you cannot bring your own pets. In the words of Donkey, 'the position of annoying talking animal has already been taken'.

💸**REDUCED OCTOBER RENT**💸
I'm actually away for the first two weeks in October and I'm also looking for a cat sitter. If you will be around and are happy to cat sit while I'm away then I'd reduce the October rent by £150.
