Hello:) My name is Euan and my current flatmate is moving out end of July (Around 29th July to 1st August time - so that's when I am looking someone to move in). A few things about me are that I am a Data Analyst (weekdays wfh) so weekdays ill just be in my room, but tend to go out a lot. I like going to the stand comedy club, gft for films, meeting pals for drinks etc, also tend to travel a lot so keeping myself busy, I also like playing guitar etc (don't worry I have a mini amp that plugs into my headphones so no loud noise!), playing PlayStation / Switch (got the new mario kart so could have a game!), I am also non-smoker:)
Looking for a professional (due to council tax) to come in, someone who is clean and tidy, chill and easy to get along with. No students please!
Rent - £650 (Same as deposit)
Council Tax - £87.50 (each) £175 total (Council Tax C)
Internet - £11 (each)
Bills - £68.61 goes into Octopus Energy each month, so around £34.31 each, however the bills are getting better now, what me and my current flatmate do is split the £68.61 and then when they leave the flat I give them back any left over (1/2). The bills have been fine the past year, the flat is very warm so I rarely ever used the heating much, but of course put it on if you want to use it!
Important info! - I have uploaded what the bedroom used to look like and what it is now, it comes with the frame, mattress, desk, chair, mirror, but aye uploaded both as the current flatmate likes the desk etc, I feel it is a bit big! so happy to get rid of any of it for you:) just to show you the style can very much be different! My current flatmate has already taken a lot out of his room (art etc) so its just the essentials left really
I have done up the bathroom recently, can show you in person the before and after, going to try and do up most of the rooms just for small wee style changes
I bought this flat in 2025 last year so lived here a year and a half now, but aye I just worked 3 jobs 7 days a week for 4 years so was not gifted it or anything, I am originally from a small seaside town called Girvan and it is not nice ahahha
Location is great because its close to the subway (St Georges Cross + Kelvinbridge) about a 10 minute walk to each, also about 15/20 mins to walk into town
A quick list of random details: There is a storage room (quite full of stuff at the moment, selling all my childhood items but nearly done! might be done before someone moves in), flat is very quiet! not on a busy road so that helps a lot (it does face a football pitch but its fine, if its ever loud it doesnt last long and not at late hours anyway), washing machine inc but no dryer, there is parking but its one of those paid for ones by the council, the last time I checked it was £150 a year but I dont have my car anymore so could be different, there is a free car park round the corner but has only 6-8 spaces so would be a bit risky if you take it out a lot, the flat is on the second floor, Lidl is right round the corner :D
Looking forward to hearing from you
Euan:)
