Looking for a quality share house with loads of space? We have a home with 3 big rooms to rent to one group of 3-4 in Thorpe Hamlet- available 30 June or earlier by negotiation.
THE HOUSE:
3 Double bedrooms (slightly larger downstairs one may be best for a couple- not pictured, see floor plan), with a shared bathroom, a second shower in separate space and an additional downstairs loo.
The entire house has been modernised with sharers and work-from-home in mind so as well as a kitchen, lounge and dining room, there are other flexible spaces: one that's usually used as an office upstairs (The Snug) and an extra co-working (or whatever you like)-space in the conservatory downstairs.. Sunny garden, shed, etc. Free on-street parking in side streets nearby.
Your commitments
We're asking for £1680 for the whole property, rented by a group of 3 to 4 who know each other, on a single lease, so it could be 3 rooms at £560 each but the exact split can be decided amongst your group. We don't mind a couple in the group but legally we can't have more than 4 residents total across 3 rooms.
Bills eg Council Tax NOT currently included but a bills package can be added if that helps: ESTIMATE for that would be £27 ppp week.
LOCATION:
In Thorpe Hamlet, a nice residential neighbourhood, near large food shops, 10 min walk to the station, on bus route and close to the city, cathedral and NUA. Beryl share bikes/scooters 1 min away. 3 min stroll to Ketts HIll and the Mousehold estate which has great running trails, walks etc.
ABOUT US:
The house is privately owned and was done up by our family, so we've spent lots of time thinking about how to make the house both practical and nice for sharers to live in. Between us we've spent lots of time living in house shares/renting so we feel like we've used that experience to help.
ABOUT YOU:
We're really looking for a group of friendly renters who ideally know each other already and are keen to sign a contract asap, buddy ups via SpareRoom and one pet in the house MIGHT still be considered for the right group. The house currently needs a bit of a tidy up, e. g. the garden, which will be done before you move in.
Management: Referencing etc may be done through an agency, but otherwise Plumstead Road is managed directly by us.
