A double room is available in a lovely three-bedroom cottage in the heart of Churchtown, one of Lancashire’s most attractive villages.

The cottage has plenty of shared space, including a comfortable sitting room with an open fire, a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a small rear garden. It’s in a quiet location with lovely neighbours and a genuine village community atmosphere.

The Horns Inn is quite literally 30 seconds’ walk away, with beautiful riverside walks, the historic church and surrounding countryside all on the doorstep. There are good bus connections and on-street parking.

I’m looking for someone who wants a home rather than simply a room. It would particularly suit a professional with a relatively quiet lifestyle who appreciates having their own space, but also enjoys sharing a comfortable, friendly home.
I am the owner and this is my home, but I travel and can sometimes be away for extended periods, so this may particularly appeal to someone who likes the idea of a house share while also valuing independence and having plenty of space to themselves from time to time.

I also have a friendly 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel, so being comfortable around dogs is important.
