This is a large, furnished, nicely decorated bed-sitting room in a period shared house. The room is at the front and over looks the garden. The shared area of the house includes a large kitchen, and upstairs bathroom. The house is situated in a quiet area of Gatley village, with extremely good transport links.

The bed-sitting room has a large window and original Adams style fireplace. There is a double bed, sofa, desk/dressing table, TV and plenty of built-in storage too. It is a large room with lots of character (see photos).

The shared kitchen is fully kitted out and has fridges, freezers, dishwasher, double oven, gas hob and microwave. There is a large kitchen table and an adjoining pantry provides good storage. It overlooks a courtyard shared with two other households. There is a laundry/utility room with washing machine, large sink and drying rack. The bathroom is shared with one other lodger and has an over-bath shower. There is also a small downstairs loo and additional storage areas.

Bills are included and the house has broadband wi-fi, central heating, alarms, large garden, communal courtyard and off-street parking. It is ideally situated with trains to Manchester and the airport at the end of the road, busses round the corner and easy access to the motorways. Gatley village is moments away and has good local shops, take-aways, good restaurants and nice pubs and bars, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s and other facilities are not far either.

As the landlord I am looking for a reliable and trustworthy, friendly, clean and tidy person to share the house with the existing long-term male lodger. Couples are welcome but a surcharge will be arranged to cover bills. I have my own rooms in the house and regularly stay for a couple of days to look after the garden and house. I grew up here and think it is a wonderful place to live.
