About Me & The House Vibe

You will be sharing the property with just me. I am a 37-year-old NHS worker and the live-in landlord. I consider myself to be a very kind, considerate, and easy-going individual who respects personal space. Outside of work, my hobbies include hockey, padel, swimming, the gym, parkrun, reading, guitar, and keeping up with Coronation Street!

The house is a peaceful, tidy, and mess-free 2-bedroom home. The vibe is relaxed and quiet, but I am always up for a shared film night, heading out for a Sunday roast, or grabbing a drink at the local pub, and if you want to play tennis and go walking together even better. You will have full access to the shared kitchen, bathroom, living room, and garden.

Parking & Location (Davenport, Stockport)

Parking: Off-road parking is available on the private driveway.

Transport: 10-minute walk to Davenport Train Station (17-minute direct train to Manchester Piccadilly).

Driving: 20 minutes to Manchester Airport, 5 minutes to the Jet2 Training Centre, and 12 minutes to Didsbury for lovely bars and restaurants.

Amenities: 10-minute walk to the local corner shop and the Jolly Sailor pub (great beer garden). Lidl is close by.

Fitness & Outdoors: Walkable to Cale Green Park, near Bramhall Park, and a 7-minute drive to PureGym.

The Ideal Flatmate

I am looking for a clean, tidy, and respectful professional or student who works a standard routine outside of the house. To make sure the house works well for both of our routines, this space is best suited for someone who matches the following:

Work Routine: Ideal for someone working a regular 9-to-5 out of the house. Because I work night shifts, I sometimes need a quiet environment to sleep during the day, and we don't have a dedicated workspace at home for remote working. I work approx 13 shifts per month, a mixture of days and nights.

Guests: I really value a calm, peaceful home environment to unwind in. For this reason, the house isn't suitable for regular visitors, and I ask for no overnight guests or late-night visitors after 10:00 PM.

Strictly No: Smokers, couples, or pets.
