Hi there, I’m Harri and my dog is Gus 💚

THE HOME
We live in Melksham, a 5 minute walk from a local shop and a 15 minute walk in to town.
The house is a big 3 bedroom, end of terrace house, with parking for multiple cars on the driveway and one would fit in the garage. We have a large, private, sun trap garden, with covered cosy patio and a grassy area. Downstairs is a decent sized kitchen with all basic white goods and gas stove. The wood burner heated living room is open plan with a large extension, with an area dedicated to the dining table and the far corner my ‘office space’. Unfortunately the sofas and dining table will be leaving with my old housemate, so you are free to bring your own or we can find some replacements together in the future.
The bathroom upstairs has a separate bath and electric shower, a decent sized kitchen with decent storage, plus an airing cupboard on the landing.
Your double bedroom (picture 9 of 16) would be at the back of the house overlooking the garden and the sunsets, with a built in wardrobe and drawers. And plenty of space for more furniture if you would need it.
The 3rd bedroom is very small and can be used by you as office space as long as you don’t mind guests sleeping in here from time to time. This also has built in wardrobes and drawers that we use for winter storage.

LIVING WITH HARRI AND GUS
I love a quiet home, where we occasionally watch movies/cook/hangout together, but also really appreciate my own space. I do enjoy to have guests over but will always communicate this with you and would expect the same back.
I work from home, mostly on video call so I will be talking a lot 3-4 days per week! It will be best to find someone who doesn’t also work at home.
I have a hidden disability and some other health conditions, so I really appreciate a housemate who helps to keep the house clean and tidy and a safe place for both of us. I do keep the house as clean as possible, but there are times when I need more help.
Gus is 40kg of love, I hope you enjoy lap dogs. Pre-warning, he sheds a lot but I do my best to maintain this.

We are looking for someone who wants a true home, preferably long term.
My current housemate is due to move out 1st October, although she will be up for discussing with you about moving out sooner if needed. This house is rented from private landlords who are very kind and understanding, so this shouldn’t be an issue.
