A lovely double room is available in my beautifully kept, cosy cottage in Aveton Gifford, South Hams.
The house is in a quiet village and would suit someone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and homely place to live.
The room & house
The double bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and blackout curtains. You would have shared use of the bathroom, sitting room and kitchen.
There is a washer/dryer, air fryer and slow cooker available to use, as well as a lovely log burner for cosy evenings in the winter.
Rent is £700 per month.
All bills are included except electricity, which is shared. You'll always be shown the bill and it is currently approximately £80 per month, depending on usage. During the winter, we can also share the cost of logs 50/50.
The village
Aveton Gifford is a lovely, peaceful village with a local shop open daily and a pub within walking distance.
There is free parking at the community village hall, where activities such as yoga and Pilates also take place.
Tesco, Ocado and Asda all deliver to the area, making grocery shopping easy even though we're in a rural location.
A little about me
I'm a female live-in landlady, moving to the area and working from home when I'm in Devon. I'm based between Devon and London.
I'm friendly and sociable and would be happy to have a chat and the occasional glass of wine after work, but I also appreciate having my own space and would give you the same.
I'm looking for someone who would enjoy a relaxed, clean and friendly home rather than a busy or party house.
Females preferred, please.
