We’re putting up our beautiful 2-bed flat off Brick Lane as unfortunately our workplace has changed - so it’s time for it to become someone else’s home!

Both bedrooms are big doubles with a lot of space and room for desks if you are studying or working from home. The living room is also massive with a lot of light and space, which has been perfect for working from home, hosting dinner parties and chilling with friends. One of the best bits of the flat is the balcony, which you can stretch out on in the summer and it has such a gorgeous view of the city and a little raised bed! The kitchen is spacious and has a good oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine. There’s a separate toilet room and shower-room (with a bath) and it’s been great for the two of us getting ready in the morning!

The flat is situated off Brick Lane, meaning it’s got all of the convenience but none of the street noise. The location is fantastic and a 10 minute walk to Zone 1 Aldgate East/Liverpool Street or Zone 2 Whitechapel. There’s a Puregym 5 minute walk away, a big Sainsburys 10 minutes down the road and a Tesco Express 5 minute away as well - but we’ve actually just been walking and cycling everywhere as well because everywhere is just so close. It’s also in a block of flats that’s a mix between professionals and families, with all the neighbours being really sweet and lovely. There’s a lift in the block and it’s on the 3rd floor.

The flat is part furnished, with new bedframes and mattresses! There are two wardrobes in one of the rooms and an open rail in the other with a big IKEA chest of drawers. There’s a lot of storage in the flat, with a big storage closet in the hallway and lots of room in the kitchen too. We brought some of our own furniture but potential to make a good deal for one of the desks and the TV stand and sofa.

Practicalities wise, we’ll be assigning the lease and it will run until August 2025 - meaning no sudden or crazy increases in rent for the next year! There’s a property manager who’s very on it and whenever we’ve had small issues they’ve got fixed quickly. Council tax is £126pm and all other bills (internet, water, gas and electricity) are usually between £90-100pp. You’ll need to pass referencing and right to rent checks and pay the deposit which is protected in a scheme. We’ve got a move out date for 4th June 2024, and the flat will be ready to move in then. Honestly, this flat has been such good value for space and size and location.

We’re flexible for viewings so contact us and we can arrange it! Buddy ups are also completely welcome.
