I’m away working/traveling for the next 7 weeks so looking to sublet my room in a 3 bed house. It’s equidistant between Hommerton and Hackney Central station (8 min walk), so a stones throw from plenty of East London classics… Chatsworth road (yes, castles cinema), London fields, Browadway market etc.

I live with two female working professionals (we’ve known each other 20+ years) so it’s a cosy house, and we have a gorgeous house cat! It’s fully furnished, and I’ve cleared my wardrobe and the white chest of draws in my bedroom. I’ve left my bedding but please provide your own sheets. The girls are on the top floor and mainly use that bathroom (though I do have the odd bath up there), I’m on the first floor opposite the living room and unofficially have the downstairs shower to myself (I. e you would too). The house is decked out with a washer and dryer, and dishwasher. The kitchen also has everything you would need - we’re vegan/vegy/meat eater so we have two separate chopping boards but everything else is shared.

We all grew up in London and are a liberal household, I’m a circus artist, Arnaz works in A&R, and Farah works with a grassroots youth organization that trains young people in collective action/politics to tackle social issues… so we are looking for someone likeminded to make sure the house stays a cosy safe place (I. e pro Palestine, LGBTQI+, anti-racist).

Ideally I find someone for the total 7 weeks - It’s available from July 16th until the first week of September - I can be quite flexible with the move in date between the 16th and the 19th July, and with move out date between the 1st-6th September.

We will likely do viewings at the house on July 7th-9th, these can be in person or video call.
