Hi! I am looking for a current or incoming (student ID needed) LSE postgraduate “female” student for a short-term tenancy at Butler’s Wharf. (Female-only flat, 1st floor).
You can stay from anytime to 30 August. The starting date can be adjusted upon discussion but the contract ends on 31 August. The weekly rent is £207.55, all bills included. It’s a great price for the flat condition and location, with reception and communal cleaning services.
It is located in the heart of London, with Tower Bridge and the Thames in your backyard, and very close to London Bridge as well. The connectivity to the north side of London is excellent, with buses and tube stations at London Bridge and Tower Hill 10-15 minutes walking distance. It takes about 30-40 minutes to LSE by tube.
There are a total of six students, including me, sharing two shower booths, two toilets, and a nice kitchen/dining area. My room gets tons of sunlight, so even on cloudy days, you can still enjoy daylight. There is enough storage space and a sink in the room. A duvet and a pillow are provided.
The kitchen is spacious with two refrigerators, an electric stove, a dining table, a microwave, a kettle, and a balcony. There is a big common room to hang out in, a laundry room, and a computer room in the building.
My flatmates are all lovely and welcoming! I really like my room, but I need to move out early due to personal circumstances. I hope you get to enjoy experiencing Butler’s Wharf as well, even if it’s short-term.
If you want to head start at LSE community while doing a pre-sessional course or just simply need to stay before going back home after dissertation, this room is perfect for you. Let me know if you’re interested. Thank you!
