Hello! I'm Lucy.

Looking for a friendly flatmate to rent a good-sized double room with desk in my cosy Victorian garden flat, which is a 3-minute walk to the tube/Overground (zone 2).

Ideally looking for someone with their own independence and life but who is up for a cuppa and a chat too. I’m out and about a fair amount and it would be good to rent the room to someone similar.

You’d be sharing with me - I currently work from home / in a co-working place and I’m a journalist & writer.

The rent is £900 a month, bills inc (and that includes council tax). I’d also be happy to rent the room as a Monday to Friday only let for someone commuting (for a reduced price).

The room is quiet, furnished, 4.2m x 2.8m with high ceiling, original fireplace and a double bed. It also has a desk, chest of drawers and hanging rail for clothes. Happy to put up extra shelves etc if you need them. You can store things under the bed and there’s also room in the shed.

There is a cosy kitchen - living area looking out on to the garden. It's not a huge living space but it has all you need such as dining table that pulls out, good TV (with Netflix included) dishwasher etc.

Ideal for working from home but also very close to excellent transport links.
3 min walk to Willesden Junction in zone 2, which is on the Bakerloo and two Overground lines. Euston is 17 min away, Oxford Circus about 25 min.

Also walking distance to the HS2 terminal at Old Oak Common.

There is parking on the street - permits are easy to buy from the council.

As I own the flat it means things get fixed quickly if something goes wrong!

The area (Harlesden) has everything you need- Tesco is 7 min walk away, an amazing 24 hour international supermarket 5 min away and a good coffee shop and cafe about 10 mins away, plus a nice pub. Roundwood Park is lovely and is 12-15 min walk away.

It's also close to Regent's Canal which is good for running or cycling.

It's one tube/train stop from Kensal Rise, which has several nice pubs, coffee shops, a park and an independent cinema.
